Privacy Policy

Effective: April 23, 2026
We do not sell your personal information. Period.

This Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of information on the Eventlio website and waitlist sign-up at eventlio.com. It does not apply to the Eventlio platform application, which will have its own privacy policy when launched.

§ 1 — Introduction

Welcome to Eventlio ("we," "our," "us"). We're building a local event marketplace platform that will connect event organizers, vendors, and attendees.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, sign up for our waitlist, and use our related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

§ 2 — Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect the following:

  • Email address — to communicate with you about the platform launch and updates.
  • Role — whether you identify as an organizer, vendor, attendee, or all of the above.
  • City — your city or town, to help us understand where to focus our launch.
  • State — your U.S. state, selected from a dropdown of U.S. states.
  • Language preference — English (EN) or Spanish (ES), to communicate with you in your preferred language.

We may also collect questions or feedback you voluntarily send us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

  • User agent — your browser type and version, operating system.
  • Usage data — which links you click and which sections of the website you view. We do not use third-party analytics tracking on our pre-launch site.

Because our site is pre-launch (waitlist and information only), the scope of automatically collected data is intentionally minimal.

2.3 Cloudflare Turnstile

Our website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against bots and abuse. When you interact with our sign-up form, Turnstile may collect:

  • Browser fingerprint data (browser type, version, operating system, screen resolution)
  • Interaction data (mouse movements, keystroke timing, scroll behavior) to distinguish humans from bots

Turnstile sets the following cookies:

  • __cf_turnstile — verification token
  • cf_clearance — proof that you passed the challenge

Cloudflare processes this data under their own privacy policy. For more information, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

§ 3 — How We Use Your Information

3.1 To Communicate About Our Platform

  • Send waitlist updates and launch announcements
  • Respond to your questions and feedback
  • Provide information about Eventlio's development

3.2 To Improve and Personalize Your Experience

  • Understand how people use our website
  • Improve our website content and user experience

3.3 For Communication and Support

3.4 For Analytics and Business Operations

  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our Services
  • Generate aggregated, anonymized reports for business insights

§ 4 — How We Share Your Information

4.1 With Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf:

Firebase / Google Cloud (Firestore) — We use Google Cloud's Firestore (project: eventlio-marketing) to store waitlist data. Google processes this data under their own privacy policy. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare — For bot detection and website security as described in § 2.3.

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and only use it for the purposes we specify.

4.2 For Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose your information:

  • To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or government requests
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others
  • To detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues

4.3 Business Transfers

If Eventlio LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and outline your choices.

4.4 With Your Consent

We will share your information with third parties when you direct us to or give us explicit permission.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address, role, location, or any other personal data to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

§ 5 — Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary:

  • Waitlist data (email, role, city, state, language preference): Retained for up to 24 months or until the Eventlio platform launches, whichever comes first. After launch, we will prompt you to create an account or confirm your preferences.
  • Communications: Retained for a reasonable period to maintain conversation history, typically no longer than 12 months.
  • Usage data: Aggregated and anonymized where possible. Raw usage logs are retained for no longer than 90 days.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile data: Governed by Cloudflare's retention policies. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
