Why Eventlio exists.

Before Eventlio was a product, it was a pattern I kept seeing up close: local events mattered, but the work around them was scattered everywhere.

Short O's Macarons

A small vendor story became the starting point for a bigger local events problem.

My wife had a business called Short O's Macarons, and she was always looking for local events where she could set up as a vendor. Markets, pop-ups, community events, festivals — anywhere she could get her product in front of people.

But finding those opportunities was harder than it should have been. Some events were posted in Facebook groups. Some were shared through word of mouth. Some were on flyers. Others were buried in random posts, messages, or comment threads.

And once she found an event, there was still more to figure out: how to apply, booth fees, setup times, rules, parking, location details, and who to contact with questions.

Then came event day. Sometimes everything was smooth. Other times, it felt chaotic. Vendors were trying to figure out where to go. Organizers were answering the same questions over and over. Last-minute updates were scattered across messages. Everyone was doing their best just to make the day work.

I kept thinking: there has to be a better way.

A better way for vendors to find real opportunities. A better way for organizers to manage events. A better way for people in the community to discover what is happening around them.

Eventlio exists because local events matter. They help small businesses grow. They bring communities together. They give vendors, creators, food trucks, organizers, and families a place to connect.

The goal is simple: make local events easier to find, easier to organize, and easier to be part of.

Eventlio is still being built step by step, but the mission is personal. It started by watching my wife go through the process as a vendor. Now, I want to build something that helps other vendors, organizers, and communities avoid those same struggles.

That is why Eventlio exists.
